This return policy (“Return Policy”) details the terms and conditions regarding the return and or refund of Jewellery purchased or rented on the website www.goldsutra.com (referred to as “Platform”) owned and operated by Swaraj Jewells LLP (“GoldSutra”, "We", "Us", or "Our"). By accessing the Platform, you (“You”/ “Your”) agree to this Return Policy.
- You may initiate a refund on the Platform within 3 (three) days of receipt of the Jewellery if the Jewellery purchased by You has any damages, defects or does not match the order placed by You on the Platform. However, Your return of the Jewellery will be contingent on Our inspection of any damages, defects or mismatch in the Jewellery after due investigation by Us. For the purpose of such inspection, GoldSutra may request You to provide proof of damage by means of photos or other details as it deems necessary. You acknowledge that the acceptance of Your return request by GoldSutra will be based on GoldSutra’s sole discretion.
- Jewellery must be returned in the same condition as when it was received by You, without any damage or alterations.
- Under no circumstance will GoldSutra accept any returns nor initiate any refunds for purchased Jewellery that is still under making as every Jewellery is specially handcrafted once the order is placed.
- GoldSutra shall not be liable for the cost of returning the purchased Jewellery including insurance, postage/courier charges, etc. This shall entirely be Your responsibility.
- Kindly note that refunds for purchased Jewellery shall always be in the form of credit on the Platform, to be redeemed for future purchases on the GoldSutra Platform.
- You may also exchange Your Jewellery within the 3 (three) day return period for another Jewellery product on the Platform of equal or greater value, subject to You making payment of the excess amounts.
- All rented Jewellery must be returned within the rental period specified on the Platform at the time of placing the order, unless an extension has been approved on the Platform.
- If You wish to extend Your rental period, please contact Us at least 24 hours before the original return date. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.
- Jewellery must be returned in the same condition as it was received by You, without any damages or alterations.
- To return the rented Jewellery You may use the prepaid return shipping label provided with Your order. You must ensure that the Jewellery is securely packed in the same condition and same packaging that it had arrived in, to avoid damage during transit and all original packaging, tags, and certificates must be included. In order to return the rented Jewellery, You must upload a video on the Platform of You packing the Jewellery, clearly showing the condition of every piece of the Jewellery along with the tags and certificates to be included.
- Upon receipt of the returned Jewellery, Our team will inspect the Jewellery to ensure it meets the return criteria. If the Jewellery passes inspection, Your security deposit will be refunded within 5 to 7 business days. However, If the Jewellery is damaged or altered, the repair or replacement costs will be deducted from Your security deposit or charged to Your account on the Platform. You hereby acknowledge that GoldSutra will solely determine if the Jewellery returned by You passed the return criteria.
- Late return penalties. Late return of rented Jewellery will incur a late fee as specified on the Platform. If You do not return the rented Jewellery within 2 days of the due date and no prior extension has been arranged, the full replacement value of the item will be deducted from Your security deposit or charged to Your account on the Platform.
- In the event of non-return, loss, or theft of the rented Jewellery, You will be charged the full retail value of the Jewellery, as listed on Our Platform.

- Repair Service for Purchased Jewellery

- All Jewellery purchased through our Platform is eligible for Our repair service starting 12 (twelve) months post-purchase, provided they are in an acceptable condition. Additionally, after 12 (twelve) months, You can exchange Your Jewellery for another design, allowing You to refresh Your collection while retaining value (values will be adjusted against the new purchase). We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction, providing You with peace of mind and enduring beauty in every piece
- The warranty covers minor issues such as metal tarnishing or stone damage but excludes theft, loss, breakage, negligence, unauthorized modifications, or resizing. You acknowledge that GoldSutra shall solely determine if the Jewellery purchased by You qualifies for the repair service.
